Acacia is passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ. Her faith has endured the test of times as she has continued to pursue God despite the obstacles and challenges she’s encountered throughout her life. Acacia’s journey of faith began at the age of 15 years old when she encountered a demonic attack (medical doctors diagnosed as schizophrenia) that caused her to search outside of herself and doctors and look to Jesus for healing and restoration. Although, she claimed and received healing in this area of her life it doesn’t mean her faith was not tested and met with challenges. As she boldly began to proclaim and testify of God’s healing power in her life counterattacks ensued. By the time she was 28 years old she had had 3 1/2 nervous breakdowns (half because it was the only time she didn’t require hospitalization). At the age of 35, Acacia’s spouse of six years left her to pursue a same sex relationship. Acacia was shell-shocked, her faith and confidence was momentarily eroded but she waxed stronger in her faith in Jesus Christ as it was during these difficult and dark times that God’s presence and grace enabled her to persevere and have an overcoming faith. Acacia is confident that the best days of her life and ministry are just ahead; it’s not over until God says it’s over! Acacia loves to share many of the supernatural encounters (that are applicable to the Body of Christ) God revealed to her during these fierce demonic attacks and comfort others as the Lord has comforted her.
Professionally Acacia has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in counseling. Her several years of working in the counseling field has equipped her to emphatically work with a diversity of people on personal problems and difficulties. She is an author of eight books and counting. She also serves in the children’s ministry and is a leader over the singles ministry at Resurrection House For All Nations.
Acacia’s charismatic personality will ignite a passion in believers to persevere in their walk with Christ and to fight the good fight of faith. She is excited about the opportunity to encourage others in their faith during seemingly insurmountable odds. Acacia is excited about being a speaker at your next women’s ministry meeting, church, Youth or Single’s event.
